Bristol Rovers are delighted to announce the signing of defender Lewis Gordon.
A free agent following his release from Premier League side Brentford, Gordon has signed a two-year deal at The Memorial Stadium.
The 21-year-old left-sided defender came through the academy at Watford and has been capped at U-17 and U-19 level by Scotland.
Rovers boss Joey Barton said: “Lewis made an immediate impression on the group after coming in on trial. I’m delighted to agree a deal and look forward to working with him. He has lots of potential and I’m sure the Gasheads will give him a warm welcome.”
Lewis comes straight into contention for today's matchday squad for the Sky Bet League One game at Burton Albion and has been allocated the number 3 shirt.
