Supporters Club
Bristol Rovers Supporters Club exists with the following ten main objectives:
To provide services to members and supporters; these services comprise retail sales, match ticket sales, season ticket sales and travel to all Bristol Rovers away fixtures.
To provide benefits to members; these benefits comprise category two ticket sales for all ticket league games, all ticket cup games and cup or trophy or promotion play off semi final and final games.
To organise quiz nights and other social events for members and supporters.
To organise twice yearly question and answer forums for members at the Memorial; the forums will be held in the Autumn and Spring and attended by guests from the Bristol Rovers Board of Directors to include the Chairman and from the Bristol Rovers football management staff to include the manager.
To organise question and answer forums for branch members to be held locally; the forums will be attended by guests from the Bristol Rovers Board of Directors to include the Chairman and from the Bristol Rovers football management staff to include the manager.
To provide news and other communications to members and supporters; the means for communication to comprise two pages in the Bristol Rovers matchday programme, the official Bristol Rovers Supporters Club web site, Facebook, Twitter, e-mail, newsletters and an annual pre season magazine.
To support the Football Club on match days with volunteers to sell the official Bristol Rovers match day programme.
To support the work of the Bristol Rovers Disabled Supporters Association (DSA).
To organise and present annual awards to comprise Clubman of the Year, Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Academy Student Player of the Year.
- To raise funds to support the Football Club; the Supporters Clubs are sponsors of the Bristol Rovers Youth Academy and shareholders of the Football Club with a 6% holding and with a legal agreement for members to elect two persons to the Board of Bristol Rovers Football Club.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month; the agenda will include Chairman’s report, elected Football Club Directors reports, finance report, match day operations report, communications report, away travel service report, social activities report and any other business deemed necessary and important.
Other interim meetings will be called as and when required to discuss urgent items. Committee nominations are sought by the last day of June in each year for fixed term positions and any vacancies.
Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting will normally be held in October of each year.
