04.02.22 Away Day Guide - Sutton United

Away day information for our fans travelling to Gander Green Lane tomorrow afternoon.

Tomorrow's visit to Gander Green Lane will be Rovers' maiden trip to the stadium. As a result, we have compiled an away day guide for Gasheads making the journey to South London.

Getting to the Ground

By Car

Exit the M25 at Junction 10 and join the A3 towards Sutton. After following the A3 for 10 miles take the A2043 exit towards New Malden/Worcester Park. You will then approach a roundabout where you will take the third exit onto Malden Road/A2043. Continue to follow the A2043 for around two and a half miles. You will then need to make a left turn onto Church Hill Road. You will then approach two roundabouts where will need to take the first exit for both and join Abbotts Road. At the end of Abbotts road make a left turn onto the A217 and then a right turn into Gander Green Lane where the stadium will be on your left.

By Train

West Sutton Railway Station is only a few minutes walk away from Gander Geeen Lane. As you come out of the station, turn right and the entrance to the ground is a short walk down the road and on your right.

Pubs

Gasheads wanting to enjoy a drink on Saturday can do so behind the Grandstand where a Social Club, which accommodates away fans, can be found. Fans making the journey to Gander Green Lane should be aware that pubs located in the Sutton town centre may be more reliable than the Social Club. There is a Wetherspoons named 'The Moon on the Hill' at the top of the High Street which is only a five minute walk away from the stadium.

Parking

Parking at the ground on Saturday is only available for permit holders only. Street parking is available but will mean a slightly longer walk to the ground due to the surrounding residential areas around the stadium. Fans are advised to check that where they park their car is safe to do so.
