Important information ahead of our Sky Bet League Two clash against Swindon Town this Saturday.

Rovers square up against former boss, Ben Garner's Swindon Town at the County Ground this weekend with the game kicking off at the earlier time of 1pm.

Fans travelling to the game on Saturday should be aware of the following information. 

Kick-Off

Saturday's game kicks off at the earlier time of 1pm.

Turnstiles will be open at the County Ground from 11am.

COVID-19 Protocols

Mandatory COVID-19 Protocols will be in place at Saturday's clash.The crowd on Saturday is expected to be over 10,000 which includes nearly 3,000 travelling Gasheads. 

No refunds will be given to those who are refused entry on the day due to non-compliance, nor does the club accept any responsibility for late entry after kick-off.

Therefore, we urge travelling supporters to please arrive early on the day of the game and have your COVID Pass ready for checks, also please also ensure you are wearing a face covering.

It is a requirement that face coverings are worn at all times by fans over the age of 11, except when eating or drinking or when sitting in your seat.

Also, please do not bring any bags in order to reduce waiting time whilst they are searched prior to entering the stadium, there also will be no parking on site on the day.

You will need either proof of vaccination, a negative Lateral Flow Test or proof of medical exemption in order to gain access to the stadium on Saturday afternoon

For away fans, there will be NO testing facility at the stadium, so testing must be done in advance of your visit unless you have proof of vaccination.

Match Tickets

  • NO tickets will be available on the day on Saturday.

Away Bars

For Bristol Rovers fans, Bar 71, Swindon Town's own Away Fans Bar, will be open from 10:30am for our fans making the short trip from BS7 on Saturday.

There are two designated pubs where Gasheads can gather prior to the match on Saturday. Please note, these pubs are for AWAY FANS ONLY:

  • The Great Western Hotel on Station Road (opposite Train Station), opening at 08:00am with food, alcohol being served from 10:00am.
  • Cheekies on Fleet Street, opening from 10:00am

Please note, both The Savoy and the Sir Daniel's Arms will NOT be allowing away fans this Saturday.

Car Parking

  • At the County Ground on Saturday, there will be NO parking available on the day. Only pre-booked parking is available which includes Blue Badge.
