Bristol Rovers is delighted to announce a partnership with local charity Pledgeball, giving fans the chance to WIN prizes - including Director for the Day and a Quarters Training Ground Experience - whilst supporting us in our campaign to take the Pledgeball League title from the 21/22 winners, our neighbours Bristol City!
Pledgeball gives fans the platform to take a stand on sustainability. Fans can show support for us by making a pledge to take actions that will improve our air and our surroundings and help their club climb the Pledgeball League Table.
The idea is simple: the group of fans who have pledged to save the most carbon emissions by midnight on matchday will see their club win the Pledgeball fixture and climb the league table.
It’s early in the season and the Pledgeball clubs, including Bristol City, Charlton Athletic and Birmingham City, have not yet started their Pledgeball campaign for 22/23. The current leaders are Burton Albion, closely followed by Derby County.

The more fixtures you pledge to support Bristol Rovers, the more times you’re entered into the prize draw!
Head of Media at Bristol Rovers, Andy Downie, said: "Our fans have the potential to make a significant change. Did you know that:
- 1 capacity Mem crowd switching off sleeping appliances saves the same amount of emissions as taking more than 360 cars off the road
- 1 Mem’s worth of fans reducing shower times to five minutes equates to taking more than 860 cars off the road
- Rovers’ Twitter followers washing clothes at 30 degrees equates to taking more than 4,100 cars off the road.
"The impact we can have is enormous; not only through reducing our own emissions but through the influence it has on friends, family and beyond."
Katie Cross, Pledgeball’s founder, said: "As a local and with most of my football team being dedicated Gasheads, this is a partnership we are very excited about. I can’t wait to see the collective impact of the Bristol Rovers fans. Bring on the Bristol Derby!"
