25.08.23 Gordon Smith

Gasheads, please join us as we clap in the 50th minute to celebrate the life of Rovers fan Gordon Smith.

Sadly, Gordon passed away at the age of 88.

His family are season ticket holders in the West Stand, but despite suffering a stroke 8 years ago leaving him unable to walk any distance, he still attended home games in his wheelchair with the aid of his sons Rich and Steve.

Not only was Gordon a brilliant and committed fan but he was also a credit to his community and benefitted the lives of so many people.

It would be excellent if the fans in attendance for Saturday's game against Wycombe could clap their hands at the mark of the 50th minute to commemorate his life.
