The Bristol Rovers Supporters Club launched a scheme last year whereby they hope to present a cap to as many players as possible who have made at least one league appearance for the club.
The scheme has been very well received and a number of caps have already been presented, either at The Memorial Stadium on a matchday or at other functions.
The caps can be sponsored, at the cost of £50 for Supporters Club members, or £60 for non-members and income generated from sponsorships will help cover the cost of the caps and raise funds for future Supporters Club projects.
Until very recently we had been unable to determine a date when it would be possible to present caps to members of the current squad but, after discussions between the Football Club and the Supporters Club, presentations will now take place at The Quarters, the club’s training ground, in April.
We are pleased to announce that the caps will be presented by Supporters Club Directors Helen Wigmore and Steve Lamble.
The closing date for sponsorships is Friday 14th April and, for those wishing to sponsor a cap, please contact the secretary of the Supporters Club at secretary@bristolroverssc.co.uk
