Chris Martin Signs Contract Extension

Chris Martin has signed a contract extension, which will keep him at Rovers until the end of the season, with a club option to extend the deal a further year.

The 35-year-old striker joined in September as a free agent, and has so far scored 10 goals this campaign, including braces against Wycombe and Charlton, and a spectacular long-range lob against Stevenage.

The club are delighted to have Chris here until at least the end of the season.

On finalising his contract renewal, Chris said "I'm delighted to get it all sorted. There's a little bit of relief, but I'm just really really happy. Obviously I've been in good form lately, and I've been really enjoying my football here, so it'll be great to continue until the end of the season."
