With players representing their nations across the age groups, read on for all you need to know the March internationals…

Who has been called up?

As mentioned, four Rovers players are away over the coming days for international duty.

Brandon Aguilera, having returned from an injury setback in Saturday’s Sky Bet League One match at Lincoln City, has been called up by the Costa Rica national side.

The 20-year-old already has 12 caps for his national team, having made his debut back in 2022, and is part of the squad for the upcoming matches against Honduras and Argentina.

Costa Rica will play Honduras in a CONCACAF Nations League play-off on Saturday 23 March, before facing reigning FIFA World Cup champions Argentina in a friendly three days later.

There is a first international call up for Jed Ward, who has been selected for the England Men’s Elite League squad for the first time.

Two Rovers players are also set for U21s action with their national sides.

Luca Hoole will represent Wales U21s in their upcoming March internationals. Hoole and his teammates will face Lithuania in a 2025 UEFA Euro Under-21s qualifier on Friday 22 March, before making the trip to face Morocco in an international friendly on Tuesday 26 March.
