Bristol Rovers is pleased to confirm the capture of goalkeeper Myles Roberts on loan from EFL Championship side Watford.
Shot-stopper Roberts has joined the Gas on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign and is the Club’s fifth signing of the 2025 January transfer window.
The 23-year-old impressed on loan at Scottish Championship side Partick Thistle in the first half of the season and will continue his development in BS7 with Rovers.
Roberts started his career at Reading and came through the Royals' Academy, before enjoying short loan spells at Wealdstone and Tonbridge Angels.
The shot-stopper signed permanently for Watford in January 2020 before going out on loan to Wingate & Finchley, where he made six appearances.
Roberts then earned regular football in the National League South, appearing 36 times for Concord Rangers in the 2021/22 campaign before playing on 29 occasions for Welling United, where he won the Manager's Player of the Year award for the 2022/23 season.
The 23-year-old spent the first half of this campaign at Scottish Championship outfit Partick Thistle, keeping eight clean sheets in 19 appearances before being recalled to feature in the Hornets' first-team squad.
