Bristol Rovers Women retain attacker Abi Todd

Resigned for the 2024/25 season.

"Having been at the club for two years I could see that the club was evolving year on year and this was something I wanted to continue to be a part of. The facilities we have access to are great for our development as a team. The quality of the players we have brought in to add to our current quality is excellent in allowing us to be competitive in the league.

Personally I want to be influential on the pitch, being creative and contributing to goals. I want to play my part in us having a successful season. With us going up we are aware of the challenge the league poses, but we have been building a squad capable of competing so as a team that’s the goal"

"Abi Todd is probably the most technically skilled player this club has ever had. She is unbelievable on the ball and can unlock defenses in an instant. We are really excited to see how she continues to develop. We have given her a plan for how we want to build into this season, and we are pleased with how she has progressed these past few weeks. She has gotten quicker and is looking faster, and when you pair that with her ability on the ball, it will be a problem.

Abi has had two solid seasons with us. The season before last, she was our top scorer and helped us finish as high as we did. In the previous season, she didn't score as many as she would've liked; however, she was still creating chances for us, most notably her goal against Portishead in the FA Cup, winning us the game and taking us through to the first round proper."
