Bristol Rovers will be ball number 49 in the 2024-25 Emirates FA Cup first-round proper draw at Old Trafford tonight.
Fans can watch the draw live on BBC Two and iPlayer from 7pm GMT, with Premier League and Championship teams joining at this stage of the competition.
The Gas beat Weston-super-Mare 3-1 after extra time in the first round. Connor Taylor and Grant Ward scored the decisive goals after Jordan Bastin's low strike cancelled Jamie Lindsay's first-half opener to ensure the game ended level after 90 minutes.
Rovers were drawn away to fellow Sky Bet League One outfit Barnsley in the second round and won on penalties after a 0-0 draw after extra time. Adam Phillips slammed the post with the opening spot-kick before the Gas netted four perfect penalties through Chris Martin, Ruel Sotiriou, Scott Sinclair and Shaq Forde, meaning Josh Earl had to score to keep the hosts in the contest.
However, Josh Griffiths continued his heroic performance and got down to his left to push his strike away, earning his team a place in the next round.
Ties for the third round will be played over the weekend of Saturday 11 January 2025.
