Michael Forbes believes Bristol Rovers have plenty of positives to take forward into coming games despite the 2-0 defeat to Cardiff City.
Rovers exited the Carabao Cup at the first round stage following Tuesday's loss to the Sky Bet Championship team, who found the net twice in the second half.
The Gas put on a resolute and valiant showing but were unable to make their opportunities count, but defender Forbes told BRTV there was plenty for the squad to consider and learn from ahead of a tough test to Rotherham United on Saturday.
