Ten-men Bristol Rovers fell to a 1-0 defeat away to Reading despite a courageous effort by the Gas.
Sam Smith's second-half strike was the difference in a well-contested effort at the Selecr Car Leasing Stadium with the Reading No10 slotting home on 66 minutes, ten minutes after Rovers had seen Shaq Forde sent off for a second yellow card.
Smith had already seen a goal ruled out for offside before Josh Griffiths' excellent save to deny Harvey Knibbs, but the Gas continues to press forward. Clinton Mola twice went close, forcing Joel Pereira in two stops in quick succession, while Taylor Moore had a shot cleared off the line late on.
