Bristol Rovers can confirm James Connolly has completed a permanent transfer to Crewe Alexandra for an undisclosed fee.
The defender departs the Memorial Stadium after two-and-a-half years with the Pirates. He initially joined on loan from Cardiff City in January 2022 before making the move permanent ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Connolly made 73 appearances in all competitions in the blue-and-white quarters and scored three goals for the Gas.
