Bristol Rovers v Lincoln City
Sky Bet League One, The Memorial Stadium, Saturday 9 November, 3:00pm
Bristol Rovers will attempt to start November with back-to-back wins at The Memorial Stadium when they host Lincoln City on Saturday.
The Gas opened the month with a 3-1 win over Weston-super-Mare in the FA Cup, with Connor Taylor and Grant Ward scoring in extra time after Jordan Bastin cancelled out Jamie Lindsay’s opener in normal time.
It’s the first time in two weeks that Rovers are in action in the third tier, previously being edged out in a spirited performance against Reading, with Matt Taylor’s men currently sitting in 17th position.
The Imps beat Northampton Town 2-1 in their last match in League One, with Tom Hamer and Erik Ring scoring in a comeback victory.
The game against Lincoln will be our dedicated Remembrance Day fixture.

Opposition...
Lincoln are playing in League One for the sixth successive season and will attempt to build on their seventh-place finish last term when they finished just two points outside the playoffs.
The visitors have started the new campaign well and are in fifth position, collecting 24 points from 13 games. Michael Skubala's men have won three of their previous five outings in the third tier but lost 3-0 to Crawley Town in their last away fixture.
The Imps made some moves in the transfer window, with Tendayi Darikwa transferring from Apollon Limassol. He has been a key figure for them and has started all 13 games.
George Wickens signed from Fulham and has been their main goalkeeper, with Bailey Cadamarteri netting three goals on loan from Sheffield Wednesday. Tom Bayliss has also been a regular figure and has three assists after switching from Shrewsbury Town.
Previous Meetings...
Lincoln have beaten Rovers in four of the previous five meetings, collecting four points from two games last season. Josh Grant scored a stoppage-time equaliser in a 1-1 draw at The Memorial Stadium before the Imps recorded a 5-0 victory at LNER Stadium.
The Gas previously beat Lincoln 2-1 in October 2020, which was part of a four-game winning run over the Imps.
Rovers' previous home victory in this fixture came in 2007, with Craig Disley and Richard Walker netting in a 2-1 win in the League Two playoff semi-final first leg.
