Huddersfield Town v Bristol Rovers
Sky Bet League One, Kirklees Stadium, Saturday 19 October, 3:00pm

Bristol Rovers will be looking to collect their third successive win in Sky Bet League One when they travel to Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

The Gas lost 4-0 to Swindon Town in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy in their previous outing but beat Charlton Athletic at the Memorial Stadium and Burton Albion on the road in the third tier to start October well.

The Pirates were scheduled to host Blackpool in League One last weekend, but the match was postponed due to the Tangerines receiving three international call-ups.

Huddersfield were last in league action against Barnsley, winning 2-0 after goals from Ben Wiles and David Kasumu.

Opposition...

Huddersfield are in League One for the first time since the 2011-12 season after getting relegated from the Championship last term.

The Terriers were going through a tough spell under new head coach Michael Duff and had lost four League One matches in a row but beat Barnsley 2-0 at home in their last league outing before collecting the same result against the Tykes three days later in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.

It means that Huddersfield are in ninth position on 15 points after collecting five wins and five defeats from ten league games this term.

Their biggest move of the transfer window will be known to Gasheads, with Antony Evans switching from Rovers to the Terriers. Lasse Sørensen also moved from Lincoln City.

Huddersfield also bolstered their attacking unit, signing Callum Marshall on loan from West Ham and Freddie Ladapo on a free transfer from Ipswich Town.

Previous Meetings...

Bristol Rovers last played Huddersfield in 2011, with the Terriers claiming a 1-0 victory at The Memorial Stadium after a goal from Jordan Rhodes.

However, the Gas did win the reverse fixture in League One that season. Will Hoskins scored the only goal in the fourth minute of stoppage-time at Galpharm Stadium.

Kits...

Due to a clash with Huddersfield Town's home kit, the EFL have requested that we wear our away shirt and shorts with home blue socks.
