The match details for Bristol Rovers’ three Bristol Street Motors Trophy group stage matches have been confirmed.
Matt Taylor’s Gas will play fellow Sky Bet League One side Exeter City, Sky Bet League Two team Swindon Town and Premier League Category One Academy side Tottenham Hotspur U21s in Southern Section Group G.
The time and date of all three matches have now been set, and Rovers will play two of the three opponents at The Memorial Stadium in the coming weeks.
The Pirates’ will open their Bristol Street Motors Trophy campaign at home to Tottenham Hotspur U21s on Tuesday 20 August 2024, with kick-off at 7pm in BS7.
Rovers will then make the trip to The County Ground in Wiltshire on Tuesday 8 October 2024 to face Swindon Town, with kick-off again at 7pm.
Southern Section Group G will conclude with a home test against Exeter City. The Gas will welcome the Grecians to The Mem on Tuesday 29 October at 7pm.
In the event of a draw after 90 minutes in any of the group stage fixtures, a penalty shoot-out will follow with the winning team earning an additional point.
