Travel & Parking

Bristol Rovers men’s and women’s first teams play their home games at The Memorial Stadium, which is easily reached by public transport.

Please see below how best to get to The Mem.

Bus

A number of buses are available from the city centre and indeed most other parts of Bristol to the Memorial Stadium.

The closest bus stop to the Memorial Stadium is Filton Avenue. Detailed timetables and bus numbers can be found here.

All local buses are now wheelchair accessible, and many have low-floor access and all recognised assistance animals can travel for free

Train

The current nearest station is Filton Abbey Wood, which approximately 1.5 miles from the ground. The most common local station is Bristol Parkway.

The Memorial Stadium is in the north of Bristol at just over two miles from Bristol’s city centre and slightly further from Bristol Temple Meads.

Taxi

Uber and other private car services operate in Bristol, and many are wheelchair accessible and can provide a suitable alternative to the bus or driving.

The recommended point of drop off is Filton Avenue.

Car Parking

Most supporters will find public transport quicker and easier than driving to The Memorial Stadium, and should be aware that parking in the local vicinity of the ground is often not possible.

Furthermore, parking at the Club itself is not available on matchdays. We would encourage all supporters travelling to the ground to use public transport wherever possible.
